The Miami Public Library was awarded another Health Literacy grant from the Oklahoma Department of Libraries.  The Health Literacy initiative is funded through ODL with funds from Library Services and Technology Act, a federal source of library funding provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.  The library will again partner with the Ottawa County Health Department and Northeastern Tribal Health Systems, as well as the Ottawa County OSU Extension office.  In addition a new partner, NEO A&M College, has been added.  Students of Agriculture Instructor Alisen Anderson will be designing some new garden beds for children.  Read more about it in the Miami NewsRecord!
