A Summer of Adventure and Learning

As the end of July rolled around, we bid farewell to our exciting summer reading program, “Adventure Begins at Your Library.” We are thrilled to share some of the fantastic highlights from this program and express our gratitude to everyone who contributed to its success. Our young readers were treated to performances by magician Kevin Wade, and they delved into the wonders of science with the engaging presentations from Mad Science, both generously sponsored by the Friends of the Library. Additionally, Buckaroo Bart Taylor from the Will Rogers Museum brought history to life with tales of Will and engaging youth with a hands-on educational experience.

A Heartfelt Thank You

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the guest readers who joined us throughout the summer. Your time, enthusiasm, and dedication have made a lasting impact on our youth, fostering a love for reading and learning. don’t forget to check out our Facebook page for more photos and highlights from the summer reading program.

Looking Ahead: August Events

Our calendar is packed with more exciting programs that promise to keep the momentum going. We are also excited to announce our participation in the Back to School open houses, where we will be sharing information about our upcoming events and resources. Mark your calendars for August 6th, as we have a special Arby’s fundraiser to support the Friends of the Library program, “Dolly Parton Imagination Library.” Your participation helps us continue to provide these enriching experiences for our community.

Stay tuned for more updates, and join us in making the end of summer as fantastic as its beginning!

Thank you,
