We want to hear about your life in Ottawa county! We have one more Creative Writing Workshop for our NEA Big Read grant. The workshop is more than just a writing session; it's a chance to connect with your community, reflect on your personal history, and contribute to a collective narrative that speaks to our shared experiences. Whether you're a seasoned writer or just starting out, your voice matters, and we can't wait to hear your stories! The personal stories about your life in Ottawa County will have the chance to be part of a unique compilation book, showcasing the diverse voices and histories of our community. Share your stories by dropping them off at the library or emailing them to librarystaff@miamiokla.net. You can also record your stories and our staff will transcribe them for the book. You can submit your voice recording or schedule an appointment at the library and a staff member will record you. “NEA Big Read is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest.”
